When we take on so many responsibilities, our bodies become overstimulated by these stressors, which are actually not life threatening and it affects the normal functioning of our bodies, which is why we start getting aches and pains. Today we offer a way to find out exactly what is causing you pain- best of all- its completely FREE.
When we take on so many responsibilities, our bodies become overstimulated by these stressors, which are actually not life threatening and it affects the normal functioning of our bodies, which is why we start getting aches and pains. The role of women has evolved so much in the past 100 years. As a Chiropractor and entrepreneur, I understand the added roles that women have had to incorporate into their lives. Many women that I treat almost always complain of the same types of symptoms, from lower back pain, headaches to tight and stiff muscles. What they find most interesting, is that all these symptoms actually stem from stress.
Getting treatment for lower back pain or headaches is just one aspect of maintaining good health. What I have found in my practice is that educating women as to the causes of their back pain and headache is just as valuable. This is why we are offering free spinal screenings. "Educating women as to the causes of their back pain and headache is just as valuable."
Stress affects the Nervous System first and creates a ripple effect by affecting our muscles and joints at a later stage. The nerves in our bodies control what we feel, by physical touch. It also controls the movement of our muscles and joints and it promotes healing within the body. Stress affects the way in which the Brain and these nerves function. Stress changes the way in which the electrical impulses travel up and down these nerves and to the brain. When these electrical impulses either speed up or slow down, it will affect the organs, muscles and skin. This is why we get muscle tightness or spasm, headaches or back pain and sometimes even numbness or pins and needles. Most of us will ignore these symptoms by just taking a pain killer or an anti-inflammatory. However, this is not good for our health, as it may subdue the pain and because we do not feel it, we will lift something heavy or push ourselves with more stress and aggravate the whole condition and make it worse. When we experience pain, our body is signalling that there is a problem and we should attend to it, not just ignore it.
Chiropractic is a non invasive treatment, which focuses on treating the origin of the pain or disorder, rather than just treating the symptoms. By tracing the exact location of the nerve that is affected and providing treatment in that area, we are able to “calm” the nervous system down and normalise the speed and intensity of the electrical impulses travelling up and down to the brain. This allows the body to heal itself from within and gives you an overall feeling of wellness. This is what I like to refer to as optimum health, where your body is functioning at peak performance. Sadly, most patients wait until their bodies are in a state of crisis and that is when they seek help. The best advice I can give: “An Ounce of Prevention is worth a Pound of Cure.” Take advantage of the free value to prevent further pain with a free spinal screening today.
